Easy.
I have what?...two AP credits and I attend to the school ranked at number 2 in the country when it comes to academics and college based classes. I busted my ass with a load of APs and wrote a kick ass essay.
Admission into SMU isn\'t as hard core as you would think. My counselor showed me their 03-04 freshmen students when it came to SATs and AP level course work. Awfully sad. Most students had an AP averaging about 500 math and 550 language. And alot of them didn\'t even have any APs.
If I do get accepted it\'s going to take a crap load of work to pay off that big ass bill. Unless I get some kind of merit based scholarship which I doubt because my GPA is as low as dirt.
This is off topic but before I forget let me tell you a story. I went to Mustang monday at SMU that was supposed to show me and basically sell me SMU. I never have felt so out of place in my life. There were tons of white girls(whom I love) some mexican girls and that\'s about all the diversity I saw when it came to girls. Anyways thats not the point. All of the students brought their parents. I didn\'t because Mexican parents tend not to care about that stuff.
They all had Gucci this Prada that, those butt ugly eskimo boots girls are starting to wear now. And during one of the sessions some girl sat next to me. Tiffany braceletets, diamond earrings and blue eyes with blonde hair. Beautiful girl. As the speaker was talking she did one thing that just showed her shallowness. We were sitting in the front row and she was playing with her nails. Like those girls in the movies who are coinceited...she did that. It was so annoying.
The rest were lived a good *rich* life judging from the cars and clothes they were wearing.
It\'s sad you know that I heard this rich kids talking about Stanford and Yale whom are very naive and stupid. My school has beat the most expensive private school in math, english and even freaking history. We\'ve met some of those students and they couln\'t tell you what a freaking integral has. Alot of them, said a teacher at SMU, don\'t take advantage of what the school offers and take the easy way out of it. Which is sad. I bust my ass every day hoping to at least earn the right to attend that school. Those kids skip that and talk about how daddy is going to pay for it.
I really doubted going to SMU just because of what I might expect from those *rich* kids. But after visiting the campus it turns out that not all of them are like that. I expected that but I was relieved to find that not all of them have huge "W"s outside their dorms or frat houses.

I said a herd of white people in order to emphacize the atmosphere and the steryotypes that sometimes seem right. I could have easily said a "herd of people" but that isn\'t as surprising(not really) Besides I like to poke fun at steryotypes.
