MGS3 reviews :

IGN 9.7 _  fans were angry at IGN\'s editor Ivan....

Gamespot 8.7 _ Kasavin made a good review. Score could be 0.2 or 0.3 higher if you read the positive tone of it.

Gamespy _ 4,5 out of 5 Turner made the best review imo. The crits he states he arguments them well.

If MGS3 were here in PAL land right now, I\'d get it instantly.

Some of my favorite games didn\'t get spectacular scores...so whatever your personal opinion is...that\'s all that matters. 8.7 is almost a 9. I\'d say that\'s a pretty damn decent game. I\'m really looking forward to finally getting my hands on this game :D

oh no doubt...i\'m still gonna cop this one..i just thought for a metal gear game that the score was kinda low...and it seems we get to play as snake all the way through in this one...:)

I just didn\'t like the fact that Snake wasn\'t playable through most of it. The naked thing was a little...disturbing. It was funny as hell though...especially the soda can and straw thing...I was like...WTF??

I think to download camoflage.

I got it yesterday and I like it. This has to be Big Boss. I really am impressed. It did take a while to get used to the new controls. I kept dying because I had trouble aiming and stuff (used to the laser pointer). I\'m getting the hang of it now.

The only thing that really annoys me is the semi-overhead view. It\'s annoying when I get seen because i cant see the guy standing 10 feet infront of me with out going into 1st person view.

Ditto. The camera angles suck ass. I like it better in MGS2 where you could actually see them. I miss the radar. I keep getting caught. In every section, I get spotted.

same here...how do you aim? i\'m not talking in 1st person view, i mean 3rd person view..i can\'t seem to get an accurate aim at all unless i\'m in 1st person view...

You can move the camera around and lock it into place with the R3 button.

And you need to be more stealthy in the game ;) That\'s what it\'s all about...you crazy...getting-caught-person...er...never mind :confused:

I really need to get this. I got a $50 gift card for EB and i was going to use that but im trying to figure out what to buy. There are a few things on my list: Street Fighter Anniversary Collection, Guilty Gear Isuka and Snake Eater just to name a few.
