heh heh...yea but you know what?, i escaped from the jail using none of the ways you mentioned..SPOILER..............i used some type of code..if you remember when snake was being tortured and the boss gave him that gun...there was this guy popping in and out from behind her with that code...weird...anyway i used that code to unlock the jail door...

All right someone give me some friggin tips on how to play this game.  

I\'ve been at it for 6 or so hours, restarted my game because of the embarassing amount of times I was getting my ass handed to me. The camera angle is worst, and when you are crawling around if you bump into something you all of a sudden stand up in a crouch position and reveal yourself like a prarie dog. I finally get into a little bit of grove and now I am just completely stuck  just before the 1st boss battle area Ocelot  . (I know its coming becuase I\'ve referenced online help guides)

I can\'t help but feel I\'m missing a out on some move, or ability that will make the game a little more playable

^^^naw you\'re not missin\' out on anything...sneaking around in the forest is aggrevating..you have to keep going in and out between 1st person view and over the head view...i think the gameplay is stale now and kojima needs to freshen up the series with the next outing...as always tho the story is superb and you get a sense of accomplishment when you\'re done, but i traded it in soon after i finished it...

I went back and started again, and now I\'m just taking out everyone, and doing much better, but its still overly frustrating with the camera angles.

the hour long stroytelling breaks need to stop in these games IMO. I love great stories but it needs to be broken up a lot more, and that James Bondish opening theme song was painful.

I found the same difficulties as well he first time I playied.The second time I tried to finish it I was used to it and managed it as well as the previous ones

The Extended edition of MGS3 will feature a new camera angle.. from behind Sanke.

Form the sounds of things it makes the jungle parts a Joy to play.

that\'ll make the game alot more tolerable. I would love to play this game from a 1st person mode at all times with a completely controllable camera

The camera angles suck ass but I got used to them. Once you figured out where all the guys are, picking them off was easy.

That\'s where I was screwing up in the beginnining. I wasn\'t picking anybody off, I was just tryinng to be sneaky.

Use the tranquilizer gun and you wont have any trouble.
