Thank you very much for your interest in our survey. Unfortunately you did not qualify for today\'s survey.

What a waste lol, what ages did you try?

Finally got in, if they do all the stuff that\'s in that survey PD0 will rock.:D

EDIT:  THX, I simply changed my location to the UK and put my age as 27.  I checked that I had played alot of those FPS(which I have) and that I was very familiar with Perfect Dark.

heh heh. Spec-Ops mode. THAT sounds like fun.

Perfect Dark was a fun ass game. A bit ahead of its time, though.

/Remembers laptop guns fondly.

This is ridiculous...I tried the survey a million times. I finally put all my REAL information...but I just lied and said I lived in the UK...what the funk? I guess they don\'t want Americans taking their survey?

EDIT: Well I just took the survery. It seems like they want this game to kick as much hiney as possible. I\'m already excited about this game :D

Perfect Dark was to me the best game ever released on N64, I woul play that game for HOURS on end, multiplayer as well. I hope Perfect dark 0 can live up to it\'s predecessor.

I liked 007 better. I thought the whole alien thing was silly. I liked 007\'s environments better, too.

Bots in multiplayer were fun to play with, though. And the gun that stuck to walls, was that in PD? That was awesome.

Yeah that\'s the laptop gun.

What are really liked about GE and PD besides the obvious qualities is the difficulty level. Some of the levels are insanely hard but you know you still have a small chance to beat them deep down and makes you try harder. Cheat code system was very rewarding too.
Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

Golden Eye 007 N64 ! If there\'s one single reason for my cheap ass to get a N64 again it\'s this game.

Unbelievable that EA is singlehandedly destroying Bond games for several years now. The whole atmosphere and ambience in Golden Eye was spot on. Incredible what Rare did with the N64 hardware. No voice acting, yet the game almost felt as cinematic as MGS on Playstation.

Ehm.. if you\'ve seen the indoor screenshots or footage of the new MGS3, you\'ll see the kind of vibe Golden Eye had too.
A shame we PAL ppl have to wait until March for it :(

GoldenEye had better single-player, PD had better multiplayer. Pretty simple.

I thought it was amazing at the time lacing proximity mines down a hall or corner and hearing them go off later in the level.  Plus watching the movie again and seeing how Rare took the real life footage and designed the maps around it.  Rare also loaded the game with tons of codes to keep us busy long after we\'ve beaten it.  A lot of effort and attention to detail went into it all, I myth that game. :(

Yeah, for console gamers I recall it being the "Halo" or "GTA" of its time.

Like FF7 around the same time, everybody knew it and everybody loved messing around with it. Everybody I knew talked about it.

The multiplayer in GoldenEye was probably the best of any console FPS to date by far, until Perfect Dark. PD just out-cooled GE007 with much more customization. It had some of the same maps as GE, too.. but with bot support. It was ahead of it\'s time on consoles, and would have been even more ahead if they left in the Game Boy Camera compatibility.

What I don\'t understand is ;

In the survey they never inquired about styling of the game. The only thing we\'ve seen is that \'new\' Joanna Dark model which kinda hinted at a sort of Danger Girl style.

I really like her looks, but maybe they should ask gamers if they lean more towards ;;

- styling like Jet Force Gemini/Area 51 over-the-top sci fi

OR

- going back to \'realism\' some more like Metal Gear Solid 3 is doing right now.

Never cared for Goldeneye or Perfect Dark... I though Rare\'s finest N64 moment was Blast Corps.
