I am mostly African-American and Native American with a tiny bit of German, and Irish mixed in. The German comes from slave masters on my fathers side(my last name is Germanic) and the Irish comes from slave masters on my mother\'s side(when I was younger my hair was mostly red and now my beard/moustache has a lot of red during the winter and blonde during the summer).
The Native American part = Wampanoag tribe of Aquinnah(name was changed to Gay Head Cliffs a while ago but has recently been changed back to Aquinnah) on Martha\'s Vineyard. My Native American roots can be traced back as far as the mid 1700\'s.
There are, of course, some smaller portions mixed in but those are the biggest contributors. Unfortunately, I\'ll never know exactly where in Africa my roots originate.
