After the PS3 is released, you can count on it.

It\'s actually hitting us in North America March 25 so there goes the idea of exclusive release on blu-ray with the PS3.  It will come ONLY in a 2 disk \'special edition\' (yeah, no regular edition).  It will feature deleted scenes, making of, and footage from the Venice film festival.

Despite earlier suggestion, Jessica Alba is not voicing a character in the US release. Instead, Rachel Leigh Cook will provide the voice of Tifa. Other notable voice actors include Steve Burton as Cloud (he also voices Cloud in both Kingdom Hearts games) and Mena Suvari as Aerith.

And you won\'t.  You will just have to hear her.  I can hear it.  Depends on how she plays it though, to match up to the \'Tifa\' persona in my head.

I just saw it w/ subtitles.

it was cool - even though I know nothing about the story, it was purty :D

I haven\'t played the game in 8-9 years...so I didn\'t remember much when watching it. But yes...it\'s very "purty".

it was mediocre, bordering on interesting.

the story was okay at best.  weak actually.
the voice acting was passable.
the facial expressions were mostly good, some not so good.
the action was great at first, but quickly wore thin after seeing the same characters defy gravity and pull off impossible stunts over and over and over again.

I\'m glad I only rented it...wish I could get that four dollars back though.

From the reviews I\'ve read today, I\'m not the only one who didn\'t love the movie.  The story getting ripped on by everyone.

I love all kinds of things...I\'m just very critical. My friends do say I\'m picky though...maybe that\'s something to work on.  I\'m going to give it another shot when I get home today and watch the special features.

also understand that I think Final Fantasy VII is highly overrated in every way.

Did you rent the freaking American version or something? I refuse to watch it overdubbed.

Then why did you rent the movie?

Riku rented it to have something to complain about, of course.
