wtf?..couldn\'t the doctors have detected that earlier?...jesus..i hate to see s**t like this...especially when it happens to children...no one can ever explain these defects...s**t like this makes me feel thankful my kids came out with all their physical and mental aspects in place...

My heart goes out to the parents and to the little girl. My son and daughter are the two most precious things in my life and to hear of stuff like this saddens me. But as with anybody in her condition, people need to look a little deeper than skin and hopefully she will live a happier life than John Merrick ever did.

I heard John Merrick killed himself. He couldn\'t breathe laying down and had to sleep upright. They found him laying down the day he died.
