I could say the same about you, but it wouldn\'t get me anywhere.

You really think you are smarter than our leaders?  You being oh what, 16 years old?  I am trying not to laugh... really... not.

I think they know more about certain things, and I know more about certain things.

All people know different things.

Politics and intelligence are kind of different.

I think they know more school-book knowledge due to their wide-spanning experience and education, BUT I think I know more about other subjects.

And I think I\'d be a nicer  leader. :P

But no, I think they have a better education then me.

Is that what your asking?

Applying intelligence to politics is a bit messy.

Ok you can type whatever you want after this, but I am not going to reply as this conversation is rapidly approaching the bottom.

They not only have a better education than you, but they also have more years of experience in their fields than you have years of actually being on this earth.  You don\'t hold a candle to them - Republican or Dem.  To actually think you are smarter than them - come back to reality DH this isn\'t fantasy land.  I am trying to remember if I ever thought I was smarter than our leaders when I was 16... nope can\'t really say I did, I wasn\'t that naive.

Go to college, go get your masters and/or PhD and then come back and tell me how much you don\'t know.

Your view of what qualifys as intelligence is narrow and preverse.

You don\'t have to be a buisnessman/politician to be intelligent, you don\'t even need any formal education at all.

But I don\'t expect you to understand this.

I cannot say if I am more or less inteligent then a man that I have never met.

Age and experience do not neccicarly dictate intelligence.

All I believe about the siutation is as follows: Bush is president. I will never be President. The President oversees and allows things I disagree with. Therefore, I like myself better then President Bush and I do not feel he has the right social knowledge to be a good leader.

End of discussion, there is more then one answer to every question. Get over yourself.

The bigotry in these forums runs rampant yet the moderator seems not to care?

I wonder why? If I was to call him "whitey" or resort to a allusional word for his race I would be labeled a racist and be trialed. Hypocritical bigots.

In one post I whine about how we are doing nothing abour Iran, NK and Lybia(The country which NK is doing deals with...Or Syria one of them, it\'s on a freaking thread!)

Anyways that is not the point. What good is threatening going to do? None, because we can\'t do ANYTHING about those countries because all of our might has gone into extermenating the most deadliest and most dangerous country of them all-which in the end, after the dust of a rushed war settled, had not one degree of a threat level. But, of course, we freed the people-our intentions all along. Right?

"Is our children learning?"

Quote of the year.

You\'ve got to be kidding me if you claim that Bush, and I\'m using him because he just happens to be the most important guy in Washington, is bright at all. The guy went to a top university because of name and money, just like all our leaders do. I doubt any of them came from the ground up. Sad really, and if you base their intelligence on "what they know and experience" then why don\'t they open up to what "they know" and then we can measure intelligence levels?

They aren\'t more intelligent, they just have access to more information.

oh to be young and naive

I love how all these high schoolers think they know more than government leaders.  They must have learned all that knowledge and gained the experience in 3rd period right before P.E.

Whether you agree with them or not they *are* smarter than you.  I\'d like to see you guys getting elected president after saying "Is our children learning?"

Bozco and THX got it.  Really, what is with certain high schoolers on here?  Not all, but the two above you both are completely nuts.  They really are living in fantasy land.

Yes because we all know I like MTV and voting.

Good call.

You people can say whatever you want, your entitled to your opinion.  But time and time again the conservatives and moderates on this forum blatantly refuse to even consider options and ideas presented by either the far-left, or young-people.

Your ideas on intelligence are just as skewed as your views on every other social subject.
