Flying Daggers was actually a LOT better than I thought it was going to be. It was very unique, and had some humor in it every now and then. When you\'re watching it, it takes a bit of getting used to...Chinese culture is strange. It\'s actually a love story, and it would have been fine had they not abruptly ended it so quickly. The credits came up and everyone was like...WTF?!?! What happened to the *insert spoiler here*
I wouldn\'t recommend it if you\'re not a hardcore Asian film fan. Otherwise...stay away!! It\'s definitely not Crouching Tiger, but it\'s still unique in it\'s own way. What\'s really interesting is...you know the main character from Onimusha 1 [he\'s a real actor]? He\'s in this movie. That made it really strange. There\'s some plot twists here and there that make you go..."WTF?!? I wasn\'t expecting that."
About Ong-bak, I don\'t know why I said that was a black guy, my friend told me he was Australian as well. He downloaded the movie and told me all about it. But the trailer [the long Asian version] was enough to get me hooked.
I hear he does a lot of his own stunts [does it appear that way in the movie?]. Bring on Friday.
