Me 2.. Im not afraid of needles.. What really scares me is that fricking band they strap to your arm to get the veins to surface. My veins on the arms are not very visible, and since I get nervous the veins refuse to show themselves, but the nurses still tries to find them even though I tell them that they’ll have a hard time finding them.
That reminds me, once time when I was 6-7 perhaps, I was at the hospital so they could do some blood work, anyway the nurse could not find any veins in my arm so she said “There is no blood” , as a stupid little boy I thought I had no blood and was going to die.
She ended up poking holes in my fingers and drew blood that way, took forever.
I really really hate that, get all sweaty and shake like a little girl. :shy: At least I get the nurses comfort.
Whenever I go to a check up, they do blood work.. Whenever I go to the hospital for a reason that has NOTHING to do with blood, they do blood work.
