Terri Schiavo doesn\'t count.  She\'s been on borrowed time for 15 years.  

I was thinking about creating a thread called "Pope on the Ropes" but I don\'t think anyone really cares.  Maybe we\'ll get a new Pope who understands what condoms are supposed to do, and doen\'t think gays are devil worshippers.   Nawwwww....

I actually live in the town where Perdue is located and where Frank lived (salisbury maryland)

Half the town here is named after him... everybody thought his death was an april fools thing.  

I too think the pope is gonna go soon

Yeah, I\'ve got feelings about him as well.

Get this though, the grimaldi family did a deal with the french 700 years ago that gave them the lease on the small principality, and one of the conditions of it remaining in their control was that each generation would have to bear a male heir to continue the lineage, or it will pass back into french rule.

With the gaffer lying on his deathbed now, his only male son, prince albert is still yet to produce a male heir of his own, and with rumours about him being a prince in more ways than one and also said to be "firing blanks", it might not be too long before the french get their garlic stained claws back on the place.
