well I for one agree with LiC here, as far as I see it he was no different from any other man and being the pope today is just a well paying do nothing job as I\'m concerned, I will admit that I haven\'t checked out the history of JPII but as far as I know he didn\'t really do anything other than being the pope.

But still, RIP John Paul

He traveled to over 100 countries helping anybody he could. No other pope has traveled that much or did as many good things as JP II.
