Joe Johnson has a fractured orbital bone over left eye.  He will have surgery today, and miss game 3 on Friday.

I don\'t blame Jerry Steakhouse.  It was a flagrant foul because of the body contact, but it was also just bad luck that Joe landed the way he did.

In the end you know the pacers are going down. But it doesn\'t hurt to cheer for the loser:p

What can I say, I like to root for the underdog.

Will the Pacers win the series?  Probably not.  Do they have a shot?  Probably.  The underdog always has more of a chance in such an intense rivalry.

Doesn\'t matter...it\'s just the battle for the right to lose to the Heat anyway.

Man you are so confident in those Miami heat. They did have a good season but all in all. Detroit has the better overall team.
The heat are not even better than last years lakers IMO

I can only imagine what kind of season the lakers would have had without the Kobe trial.

There is a bit of sarcasm in my overconfidence.  I think it will be a good series if they play Detroit.  I do think Miami will win, but I think it\'ll be close.

There is no proof or reason to say that Detroit has the better team.  Miami had the better record.

And the Heat are better than last year\'s Lakers.  Wade is better than Kobe in my eyes, Shaq is in MUCH better shape this year and is more motivated, and I think the supporting cast in Miami is better suited for the team, and perhaps better overall as well.

Better record does not mean better team. I think overall detroit has an all around better team. I mean beyond wade/shaq nobody on the heat poses a threat. I think eddie is still decent at best. I think shaq has made everyone better. I just don\'t see their supporting cast beating the pistons.

I guess time will tell which team is better. The pistons do have the better coach.

While what happen to the suns? Dallas flat out outplayed them. I mean Avery said he would have his guys ready for game 2 and they were ready from tip off. I think Dallas could easily end up stealing this series from the suns.

Mavericks "flat out outplayed them..."  ?  Final score was 108-106. That\'s not "flat out outplaying," that\'s sneaking away with a win.  I predict that Dallas cannot repeat that performance, and Phoenix will adjust anyway, so it\'s irrelevant.  Suns still hold the edge.

In the East, Detroit will break Miami if they advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.  Miami would probably crush Indiana if it came to that, but it probably won\'t.

Adjust? How do they plan to do that while playing just 7 players and with Joe Johnson out. Suns hold the edge? How so they just lost home court advantage. If you ask me, this is going to be a 7 game series all because of avery johnson. The man put defense into their game, and Dampier is riled up.

So quick to jump on the spurs, but when the suns lose a game its a fluke.
