do you actually believe there will be anymore premeptive strikes against another country at this point or in the distant future? i think not...

We can\'t afford to attack anyone else right now.  I don\'t see how it\'s naive.

BTW, I agree with your new Churchill quotation, Giga.  Both ideological extremes have vices.  The problem is that Republicans are pushing us too far in the direction of unhindered, unregulated, unaccountable capitalism.  We need something in the middle, which is NOT where we are right now.

Did anybody else hear about that UK memo that said that the war will happen, way before it actually happened. Kind of interesting that nobody really paid attention to it...
