OMG. "Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Remix" like we REALLY needed more Mario games.

I hoped that Nintendo would make a strong showing but this is looking like a two company console war.

Nintendo needs to fire their marketing team. Why even bring up the Revolution at all? Trash.

I see your concern but I wouldn\'t count Nintendo out just yet.  System specs/capabilites and most importantly, games aren\'t even announced.

7 billion is a drop in the well compared to Sony and MS, but they should be able to produce something with that capital, however if 2 - 3 times more powerful then Gamecube is what they are trying to sell then the Revolution is in trouble.

Still thought Nintendo would focus on software this time around.

Oh and don\'t forget that the Revolution requires an add-on in order to play DVDs. Always a step behind Nintendo. SMH

Um. Yeah.

Revolution had better be real cheap. As in $100 cheap. :)

As much buzz as Sony created, as much buzz Nintendo killed. I hope they\'ll show something better soon. :)
RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAPETIME!

Nintendo jumped the gun on this . You can tell they only showed the Revolution, because of MS and Sony.

Agreed. But my expectations weren\'t all that high in the first place.

The backwards compatability stuff was really nice though.

PS3 wins. Game ovah, man. Game ovah.

I agree. It was almost painful to watch.

Iwata is up there with the Revolution "prototype" talking about how good it should be, what games MAY be on it, the experience they are trying to convey, etc. all in heavily accented english with the crowd in COMPLETE silence. You know the crowd was pissed that they got up early to get a good seat for the DJ Chubby Techno and Fake Dog show.

They had their chance to implant themselves as a legitimate contender in the next generation, just as the hype machine starts to swell and they dropped the ball.

The gaming press is going to RIP Nintendo (and rightfully so).

Revolution will be in the same league as all the other consoles in terms of power. They have respectable companies designing their graphics chips, etc etc. You don\'t need to waste millions of dollars in deals to produce the best software, Apple is a clear example as they continue to make Microsoft look like 2 years ago.
Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

nintendo is fading fast.. and that\'s kinda sad.  I really wanted to see 3 viable consoles next gen, but N is gonna have a hard time distracting people from their Xbox360 and PS3.

I\'m not worried about them totally going out of business.  They\'ll go third party before doing that.  I got a feeling it\'s gonna be an extremely rough stretch for them :(

Yes, while the majority of the world continues to use Windows and Bill Gates cries all the way to the bank.

It\'s not a mandatory purchase, I don\'t see the problem.

Do you play games because you think you are leet owning the system with the most units sold or because you enjoy them?

Nintendo has it\'s audience and they\'ll be around for a long time. Don\'t kid yourselves. This is fucking E3, wait till it launches before completely writing them off.

OSX Tiger > Windows XP

The games make up for that though.
