No way am I ever paying for a console that is greater than 300...

I won\'t buy the PS3 until the price falls below 250... I\'m just a poor college kid.

i don\'t know how sony can sell ps3 with blu ray playback for $300.  Shrugs...but if it does sell at that price point, then they make history since stand a lone blu ray players are more expensive since its new.

I can\'t see this thing less than 600 bucks.  If it is, then they must have an amazing licencing deal with software companies.

this is why game prices are going up, to offset the loss both sony and microsoft are gonna have selling each console.

If Sony can get blu-ray to be the dominant HD disc format then Sony will make money 10 fold in the near future. The best way to get blu-ray to be preferred and popular is to attach it to a device you know 80 million people will buy.

Sony will have liscensing deals with every HD disc player made with blu-ray technology. Take the loss now and make out in the end
