First of all, i love Nintendo. Even when i was a young child. I have owned every console that nintendo has made, including Gamecube, and i dont think i could pass up the revolution. something about it seems very unique. Anyway, here are the specs that have been leaked.

This morning we received these specs for Nintendo\'s Revolution from a trustworthy Nintendo insider

After speaking to developers close to Revolution development we can confirm that these are indeed legitimate.

Here is the rundown -

IBM Single 1.5Ghz Risc Core (Broadway)

ATI 300Mhz Graphics Core (Hollywood)

128MB MoSys Ram UMA Total System

Audio Handled via CPU

12x DVD 48x CD-ROM Drive

15GB HDD

Built in WiFi (802.11b/g)

Wireless Controllers

480 ProgScan support

Full Backwards Compatibity With GC Software Library

Like they said, power isnt about anything, and i can expect the graphics to be on par with the x360 and ps3. i cant wait to see some tech demos!

I mean demos showing what the hardware can do. in other words, yes, games. Nintendo didnt show anything about the revolution except a peice of plastic and a few shady details.

Sorry, I was just playing a bit.

Ok, now the specs do seem a bit yesteryear at first sight but we gotta
keep in mind that it is indeed that thin little black box which\'ll contain this hardware.

I can imagine heat dissipation being
a problem with superduper clockspeeds.

Of course, alot will become more clear when they reveal their user interface i guess.

everyone is saying this is fake, but seeing how small the console will be, I guess it would be adequate.

Nintendo said graphics weren\'t as important as Revolutionary ideas...but I hope they weren\'t thinking graphics weren\'t important at all. I hope those aren\'t real.

well maybe they don\'t care..they have the handheld gen on lock and no matter what they know that whatever the specs are people are gonna jump at the next mario or zelda game from them..guaranteed...

Bah it would have been better for them if they started making games for other platforms like Sega did.They are hurting theirselves if these are the real specs.

edit:On a second thought I think its a good decision.Even if it was more powerful than PS3 or XBOX360 nothing quarantees that they can succeed at competing them.
That what also happend with the GC.they prefer a very low cost hardware which would be enough to bring them profit without the need of massive sales knowing that Nintendo fans are a sure userbase.
Nintendo is almoast as if they belong to a different kind of market,They have different kinds of targets
