I still have to go, trade my car in, get something cheaper (car payment plus insurance is a killer on my Celica). Get a baby room ready. Start putting money back (more so than we have). It\'s a nerve racking time, trust me.

Crikey! And you were planning your life as a single male quite well by living with yer parents, saving yer money...then BAM! Twins!

Ah well....aren\'t you kinda young too? Like not even past 20yrs old yet? I could be wrong. At least you didn\'t get your tongue split as you had planned. ;)

Almost 22.
-shrugs-

Not really that scarey. Had no plans of going to college. Already have a stable job  of the last three years that pays good (been promoted once - up for another here in about a year).

Happens at different times for everyone, I guess. Main thing is just adjusting to make everything work.

not scary at all bro..and anyway it\'s cool bein a young parent...your kids will be grown and you won\'t be this 90 year old dinosaur..:p..i don\'t understand why some people still have kids when they\'re like in they\'re mid to late 40\'s..when that child wants to play football or ballet class, you\'re gonna be too old to be involved....
knowledge, wisdom & understanding..these are the basic fundamentals of life

I don\'t think you can ever be "ready" for it. I think , at least so far, that you just adjust. Adjusting, like having to trade my Celica in (cry). Realizing my expensive hobbies are pretty much gone .

It\'s all about adjusting, I guess.

I dont plan on having kids until Im about 29 or 30.  I want to enjoy my younghood while I still have it. Besides, I\'m not at the point where I could support a kid.

That\'s what I used to say when I was in my early 20\'s and now I\'m 31, I\'m still in no rush to have them.

I\'ll probably be ready in my late 30\'s
