Then don\'t buy it. On the other side, there is nothing wrong with someone buying it if they have the income to do so.

Nintendo does shit to turn a profit. This is exactly why they are not going downhill or disappearing or going third party.

If you don\'t want the new hardware, don\'t buy it. Just like you probably didn\'t buy Game Boy Pocket when it came out.

I don\'t see what the controversy is. It\'s a tiny Game Boy. OK, moving on...

is my point

they are in 3rd place this last generation for a reason

PSP crushes anything they\'ve done to date in the handheld market.

lets say they didnt release the micro and put out a handheld that could do GC graphics but sold for 99$.  PSP would be the Lynx 2.0

No I won\'t. I have no need for it, but there is a demographic for the product. Big deal.

I am sure Nintendo is also doin\' R&D for the next generation GB. Just because they devote some small resource to this, does not mean they are not working on something else.

And yes, graphics wise the PSP crushes any Nintendo handheld , but what handhelds are selling the most? The gameboys, SP and DS.

His point has nothing to do with him wanting to buy it or not.His point is that people follow the trend of pop culture, the very same the industry created,"feeds" and exploits.
There is the dilemma between a)quality, meaningfulness and artistic creativity  that is followed by risk   and b)the quantity, trendy, stereotyped vague creativity that is followed by quaranteed quick profit.
And profit is the only thing that matters to people not the combination of the two.

The fact of the matter is, if there is something to sell, why shouldn\'t the company make the product and sell it? It doesn\'t hurt the industry in the least.

This is just something for those people who want something smaller. Big whoop.

This release does not in the least hurt Nintendo or any of it\'s products. They release this, turn some quick cash and go about their business. What is a big deal about that? If people want the product and will buy it, why complain?

I\'m sorry, but I don\'t see the big deal. You people act like there is some kind of honor code in the industry, something saying this shouldn\'t be released, because it doesn\'t further technology. That simply is not true.

pop culture creates a non existing sense of need for things that you dont need. And a commercial is supposed to do just that.
The industry works with tricks to create this feel. The thing is that we are starting to underestimate our creative side for materialistic and "wealthy" life because we are made to think like that.Thats how capitalism works. We are being bombarded with unneeded BS everyday to bring profit to the industry.

K then make a thread about pop culture and get out.
Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.
