One thought: Maybe she didn\'t know what a Taser was (until now).

She saw a cop pointing a gun at her, and she figured, "no cop is going to shoot me in my own car for talking on a cell phone" so she continued to do whatever she wanted to do.

Now, if a cop pointed an object at me and said "GET OUT OF THE CAR OR I WILL [DO SOMETHING] TO YOU" I would tend to believe him. Maybe she was too dumb to believe.

How does the cop get the citizen to obey him, by presenting a credible and understandable threat, without resorting to physical handling that might open them to a lawsuit? I would guess the rules for taser use are well understood, and there is probably a judicial case history supporting the cops in situations like this. Therefore, it might be less risky to use the Taser than to use a baton. The effects of the Taser are well documented. The effects of the baton might be almost anything.

didn\'t see the full clip...takin too long to upload from my pc...but just going from what everybody is sayin here, if she gave him a hard time and she was wrong from the jump, you gotta do what the officer tells you to do..yo, i\'m not too big cops, but the one\'s that do try to do thier job, i\'m all for them...i heard she swung at him as well?:eek:...crazy....s**t like that will get you shot!

As much as I dislike police. She had it coming....

(1) Suspended lisence.

(2) Driving over speed limit.

(3) Being a smartass.

(4) Disobeying direct orders.

(5) Was given the option, not to be tasered. He told her . She refused.

Tase her ass. if that is the only way to get through to her, then so be it.

And let me say this about cops. Not all are bad. Want examples? Here you go.

This happened within three weekends.

1: Superbowl weekend. Girlfriend and I are in the car. I\'m driving, notice I am in the wrong lane. Don\'t look real good, and I swerve to the other lane. Guess what? I HIT the sheriff. I literally wrecked and hit the cop. Dented my car, took paint off his. Guess what else happened? Nothing. He realized it was a silly drivers mistake, asked if I was okay, I said yes and he went on. Never check to see if I was drinking or anything. Even gave me his card, so if I wanted to turn it into the insurance.

2: Pulled over twice in one night. Once for no turning signal and going 60 in a 50 mph zone. Got a warning and went on my merry way. Fifteen mintues later, almost at my G/F\'s, get pulled over again. This time for 75 in a 35. I explained to the cop I wasn\'t from around there, didn\'t know it was a 35 (BULLSHIT). He checked my record, saw I had no priors and let me go...

3: Got pulled over, because I didn\'t come to a complete stop and almost hit another cop..Got a ticket on that one...Why? Because it was a woman cop....

Moral of the story? Three bad weekends. Four incidents with the police. One ticket. Why? Because it was a female cop. Cops should not be chicks. Oh and traffic school come this Tuesday.

dislike police? dont be an ass and u wont run into them..but of course nothing can be your fault and its gotta be the cops who always abuse their authority

i dont doubt some policemen suck..but in any group of society, there is always "a few bad apples"..hell in grade school theres always the one kid that asks if theres homework.

and u deserve the ticket for almost hitting a cop,lol. I mean it does suck and its an extreme to not doing any damage. But if some guy almost hit u, i guarantee ud be like "fuck man..that douchebag almost hit me..id ticket the asshole"...well cops can do that so they will.

so to look at it as "not all cops are bad" instead of "some cops suck" isnt cool.

if ur being sarcastic then my bad. But i see dissing cops in the same light as dissing the military.

Some people don\'t listen to anybody. I have kids answer their phone during college lectures and when the teacher tells them to hang up they tell him to hold on. The taser doesn\'t even get their attention, including that lady.

I swear, do you even read? Let me clarify.

I dislike the whole police state. That we need people telling us what to do at all times. However, not all police are bad. Some are on ego trips and some aren\'t. I wouldn\'t call me an "ass" for hitting one. It was an accident.

And I never said I didn\'t deserve the ticket. I made a joke about the only reason I got a ticket was because it was a female cop.

Get a grip, bud.

this guy died from a taser...hmmm i don\'t know, sounds kinda fishy in the way they described his death. they were sayin that he was under the influence of drugs and had a crack pipe in his pocket....which may be true, it\'s just when they word it like that,they make it seem as if the\'re saying.."well if he wasn\'t on drugs he wouldn\'t have died" "the taser is 100% safe"...they said they tased him over 3 times but who knows.....

i think its societies fault we need people telling us what to do all the time. not the police state

and the first comment about being an ass was people in general, because a lot of people complain about what cops do but measures had to be taken cuz they did something..and running into ment encountering..bad choice of words
