A totally blank screen though is pretty damn boring. It\'s not like a nice wallpaper is going to slow down your PC and make you forget to do your work. It will however make your time spent in front of the PC more pleasurable.

It has nothing to due with "priorities"...it\'s a personal thing. Having a background doesn\'t slow down my computer at all.
