Mjallo guys, I\'m planning on going to New Zealand to work and travel come new year. Have any of you guys been there and if so, which towns/attractions/sights do you recommend?

Why not Australia?

New Zealand is an awesome place. I\'ve never been, but my girlfriend has and speaks of nothing but praises.

I\'d very much love to go there one day. In most of the major cities you\'ll find great stuff to see/do, so don\'t be too concerned about focussing on certain ones. You can\'t go wrong with Wellington, though.

Nah, it was a toss up between NZ and Australia, and I guess I\'ve always wanted to go to NZ even more than Australia, so that\'s why I chose it.

I\'ve never been to New Zealand, but from what I\'ve seen it\'s a beautiful place. I hope you have fun there, man.

When are you planning this? I\'ll probably end up going there some time next year, or perhaps the year after.

Like Australia, they drive on the wrong side of the road. Other than that, I heard it\'s a pretty nice place to visit and people are nice. Say hello to the Hobbits for me.

Haha yeah, I have to admit LOTR was part of the reason I wanted to go there.

I\'m planning on going in January. Probably for 4-6 months.

On the boat I worked on the skippers wife was from NZ.

She was from Auckland.

I\'d suggest getting some real organic food while your there.
