i thought this was funny as hell in an espn.com Q&A article:

Q: Wouldn\'t it be pretty funny to hear ESPN\'s "Sunday Night Football" crew give a eulogy?
-- Alex, Syosset, NY

SG: Actually, I was hoping for a Pat Morita tribute during the Saints-Jets game...

Patrick: Guys, we\'d be remiss if we didn\'t say good-bye to one of the great, great actors of our generation, Pat Morita -- what an actor this guy was! Just a great, great, great actor.

Theismann: Mike, when we talked to John Avildsen, the director of "The Karate Kid," he told us that Pat Morita was one of the greatest actors he ever worked with. I mean, here\'s a guy who was simply robbed for the 1984 Best Supporting Actor by Dr. Haing S. Ngor.

Maguire: I\'m gonna tell you what a great actor this guy was. Watch this clip from the first "Karate Kid" when he saves Daniel-San on Halloween ... watch him jump this fence and take out the Cobra Kai -- here it comes, here it comes, WHAM! BAM! Right there! And look at his feet! See his feet moving! Is this guy something? You think this guy doesn\'t know karate?

Patrick: What a scene for Pat Morita! HOLY COW!

Theismann: And guys, when we talked to Jimmy Franklin, the head writer for "Happy Days" back in 1977, he told us that Pat Morita was the easiest guy he has ever written for -- and this is a guy who wrote for Pat Schneider, Vic Tayback, Conrad Bain and pretty much every great sitcom actor from that decade.

No one can do the crane like Pat. Mr. Miyagi, we\'ll miss you!
Maguire: And Joe, you want to talk about a guy who could steal a scene? This guy could steal scenes. He\'d steal \'em right out of thin air! And you know the thing about Pat Morita -- when he belted out a line like "wax on, wax off," I\'m gonna tell you somethin\' right now: You believed him. You waxed on, and you waxed off.

Theismann: I\'m not so sure he wasn\'t the greatest character actor of all-time.

Patrick: What a great, great actor and what a huge, huge loss -- you cannot say enough about it. So long, Pat Morita

I seriously cant stand the sunday night football guys. If "THIS GUY IS THE GREATEST......." is this week, then what about the guy that was the greatest at it last week? YES, they are all talented..they better be getting paid millions..dumbasses. And i can no longer trust the names announcers say. Even though it could be someone like the guys on Fox in the morning game who rarely mess up the name, ill think theyre naming the wrong person like they do 70% of the time on SNF.

That is from the Boston Sports Guy\'s mailbag. He used to be guaranteed comedy gold a couple of years ago but he has been pretty much hit and miss after moving to the other side of the country and writing one article every two weeks.

Still, he is a biased Boston fan so I read him all the time.

Bud, the Cowgirls wouldn\'t be able to stand on the same field as the Colts. Every game they win is almost always close and then usually lose the other half. The Colts would take them and whip them around like nothing....The Patriots probably would also.

Everything will be fine when the Gmen sack Mr. Bledsoe 5 times and take a couple picks from him, the Cowgirls won\'t be able to stoppy Armani/Burress/Shockey and Barber along with Manning.

All I\'m hoping for from Dallas is Meshawn score\'s a TD and has some yards.

Personally, I think Sports Guy\'s finest moment came with the creation of his vengence scale, solely for the purpose of illustrating the difference between normal Shaq (LA Shaq) and Angry Shaq (Miami Shaq).  That thing was amazing.

It\'s not his fault he has the girly man Losman throwing to him, he had a lot of success with Bledsoe when the O Line decided to pass block for them.

exactly...so he only does it like twice a year. Can show respect for his ability but you dont have to show respect in a double coverage or a "look out..evans will have a big game next week."

their whole team is like that..the defense has potential to do really well, but they dont always (especially after losing spikes). Moulds has been great in his career, has sucked the last 2 years minding a few games. Mcgehee is a great RB, he hasnt scored in like 5 games.

What\'d I say?

Giants over Cowgirls.

Oh and Bengals > Steelers.
The question is, was it because the Bengals was playing so good or because the Steelers was playing so terrible? I say it was the latter. Look at the turnovers on the Steelers side and look at how close the game was.

Oh and no surpirse..
Colts ...12 - 0

Well the way I see it is the Steelers haven\'t all been there together so it seems they are not just quite clicking and this is not the time to do it this late in the season.

G-Men won, where you at Clips?
