Day 1: Day of the storm

i was looking out the window, watching trees gettin knock down
people\'s house roofs flying down the street, then we lost power
then hours and hours of strong winds, boards was starting to come
off our house, and our front door blew open,we had to nail it shut
then like water starting commin in the house, seem like only 5 mins
our house was completely flooded, and the fridge, fell and started
floating around house,and the sofa\'s was floating,our
beds,tv,everything
so we got on top my dad\'s car under the garage, water was up to our
chest
i went out in the backyard,to get the ladder,i grab a big tree branch
and held onto it,and search the yard for awhile to find the ladder
the winds was blowing hard, and it was raining intense,i use my feet to
locate
the ladder, and found it,and i set the ladder up by the roof
and lock it onto the fence,so it cant get knock down,we couldnt get on
the
roof just yet,cuz the wind was to strong, so we spend the day and
night on my dad\'s car,and i can hear all the people screaming for help
i was just sittin on top the car, just knocking bugs off the windsher of
the car
with a brush, night time it was pitch black couldnt see nuthing
and the night seem to lasted forever

Day 2: water was getting higher,we got up on the roof, and heilcopters
was flying around, we wave to them for hours and hours, and we got some
white
paint and painted help all over our roof, and well we set up there
forawhile
and we had to get off,cuz we was boiling up on the roof from the sun
some1 in the area had a boat,engine was broken,and it had a leak,they
was afraid
to use it,but we told them lets stuff a rag in it and lets go
they came and got me and my dad,2 people was paddleing, and me and other
guy
was just shovelin water out the boat with buckets,we took turns on that
it was extremely hot,and we was paddling forever, but we got to a area
that was somewhat walkable,i got out and push the boat, water was up
to my neck i was only 1 tall enough to do it r otheres couldnnt swim or
too old,
its nuthinng like pushing a boat, when theres dead bodies
floating around, dead animals, and there was this huge snake justn
floating around
on the my rignht side, that was like 20 feet away, thankfully it stay
there
that was like the scariest thing iv ever seen, when a dead body just
bumps into you,we got to the levi,it was dry,we set up onn the levi for
hours
we was waiting for a helicopter that was suppose to come pick us up
but never came,it was nighttime, pinch black, the sewage and water board
help us by flashing there headlights from there trucks onto the stairs
so we could help some of the innjured people downn tnhne stairs,r
those that was in wheelchairs, then some someonne drove up and jump out
his
car and shot @ the the other guy with a shotgun that was flashing his
headlights
not sure why,i dont know if he hit him or not,we ran into a abanonnded
building, and we board it up,andn spent the night there

Day 3: next morinng lots of trucks was passes by,we caught a ride, they
was droping people off at UNO,we spent the day and night there, there
was food there, but people was fighting over it,andn was bout
to kill each other,i didnt even bother,we spend the night there
and we was told by others ppl we hang with, that 3 or 4 women
got raped during the night upstairs, helicopters was commin andn picking
people up,but could only hold 15 people, and they stop cuz people
starting shooting @ the choppers,so we stay there all night

Day 4: we sat there there probably most the day, then boats came
the coast guard came, and they was packing the heavy guns, the reason
they took so long, cuz people was shooting at them and stuff,so we
had alittle boat ride, and they drop us off at the extractionn point
to go to houston, there was like 20,000-30,000 people there, with 3
portalable
bathrooms ;D ,ppl was droping dead out there in the heat,we had to
spend the
night out on the street, they handed out some boxes to lay on ;D

Day 5: well it was hot,the group i was with,found a hotel near by,we
went
there and held up there for a few hours, there was working phones
but people was stealinng qtrs out of them, and broke all the paid phones
we was chillin, and the police came andn was gonna arrest everyone
but i guess they realize that we was just tryinn to surive and only
remove us from the building

ill probably write more later,i left alot of stuff out and didnt feel
like writin all that stuff

everything sniff..

Just thought it was interesting, so i am posting it here.

THX, there are hurricanes all the time without evacuation. Although this one was before hand predicted to be pretty bad, it takes a lot to get people to abandon their homes. Especially if you live in an area where there are a lot of hurricanes. But, yeah. He shoulda left, but I\'m not so sure if I would have said so before this.
