Oh. :)

It means to punch through something / to pierce it. So I meant to say that waxing can increase the risk of hairs not being able to go through the skin and that\'ll create a mess.
RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAPETIME!

I thought you ment that pinching feeling when shaved hair begin to grow a little :p

Well indeed it is a problem but not much. Some hair do puncture but I take them out with some rubbing. They sometimes get out by themselves after they grow a little :)

Well women wax their hair off in cyprus but none of them I ve seen so far have a problem with waxing ;)

I heard a joke about this on Conan O\'Brien. Something like "the shaved look is great on a woman. Men on the other hand...well it just looks like your mom forgot to pick you up for soccer practice." Its funny because its true.

And I draw the line with armpits...skirts with shaved legs are to follow.
Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

Different sports require you to shave your body. I don\'t see it as funny at all.

For pregnant women or new mothers, the presence of phthalates in some body-care and cosmetic products makes that lack of regulation particularly alarming. In animal research, phthalates have been shown to harm the testes of developing males. The organization Health Care without Harm, together with Women\'s Voices for the Earth and the Environmental Working Group, tested a number of body products currently available through drugstores and high-end cosmetic counters. Of the products tested, 72 percent contained one or more phthalates. Many nail polishes contained one of the most dangerous phthalates, DBP, which is now banned in Europe. (1) The body product containing the most phthalates was Poison, a perfume made by Christian Dior.

Yikes.

Has anyone heard that competing swimmers must shave entire body, to provide less drag? Talk about really into swimming.

I don\'t see LIC as an all-star sports player who needs to shave every hair on his body every single day. Call it a hunch.

Besides, sports players doing it is completely irrelevant to the topic. These are unusual social patterns for seemingly normal people! I don\'t have a crystal ball but if they simply do it for their girlfriends/fiance then I think it\'s fine. If not...It strikes me as odd behavior.

I just found the joke funny and now I\'m getting idepth on shaving pubes and armpits.. :(

Yes, but I don\'t think it\'s that big of a deal. They love the sport, so they shouldn\'t be looked down upon just because they have to shave everything.

If anything, I\'m looking up to their devotion to the sport.

Also in the link you posted it sais something about shampooing. Its true that we lose naturally I think around 60-120 hair a day and some think that it was the shampoo while it wasnt but a dermatologist I saw once in TV said that casual shampooing dehydrates hair and at the end you will damage them and lose them.Same goes with hair gel and hair wax.

Personally I ve noticed that waxing/pulling them off weakens them because the hair is pulled from the root. They grow slower and I ve noticed that fewer grow back the more I am waxing them off.

I never notice that. The hair on my face doesn\'t grow in any thicker. It may just be that you\'re maturing and its growing in thicker because you\'re getting older. I\'ve shaved my pubic region a bit before (not full. Did it for lacrosse because it hurt taking the cup off because hair stuck to your thingy) and it didn\'t come in any faster or thicker.

That\'s true. My brother does swimming and he\'s had to shave all his body hair. Olympic swimmers do it to as well as a couple other people I know have donee it.

I hate body hair, personally. If you choose to be a fuzzy gorilla, then by all means be a fuzzy gorilla.
