May find this interesting;

I have read so many various estimates on that and they are all depressing. You also are not taking in account the lotion, the wipes and various other things.

It\'s kinda gross at times, but my mom used cloth diapers on myself and my brothers.  It\'s more comfortable for the kid (if you change them often), much cheaper, and you won\'t fill the landfills and k-mart parking lots with diapers.

Then you just keep the disposables around for overnight and long trips.
You\'ve no business in here!  This is my masturbatorium!

me and my wife do the cloth diaper thing... has saved us a TON of money and it\'s not that bad, i\'m pretty immune to poop at this point.  And once they get a bit older the poop becomes adult poop and you can just shake it off in the toilet then toss in the diaper hamper.  Bleach the f*ck out of the bitches and they come out just like new.

And yeah, keep a pack of disposables around for trips or if someone else watches your kid on "date night"

I was thinking the exact same thing.  LIC you need to consult us old guys before you do something like that again. ;)

It is artwork. Sorry, if you missed the obvious.

that\'s understandable then with the families meeting for the first time and all.

It\'s pretty amazing how much shit you can get at a baby shower, we almost couldn\'t fit it all in our expedition (not the big stuff).  I think my wife had 3 seperate showers... at least I remember dropping her off at at least that many :P

I think she is goin\' to have one more shower, from the people at work.

As for all the stuff you can get, we didn\'t know what to expect, so I had already bought almost all the big stuff, so both cars was filled to the brim with little stuff. My grandmother did get us a double stroller and her grandfather got us another crib.
