The Bird Flew Virus has not yet mutated to humans yet. So you can\'t say it has killed thousands. So far, it has killed zero humans.
Not true, it has killed over 60 people in asia in the past 2 years or so. For it to transfer to humans isn\'t unknown, it\'s the possiblility of it jumping from bird to human, then human to human that hasn\'t emerged so far.
The real worry is that it\'s believed that this year is going to be a bad year flu-wise, one of the worst in recent times, and scientists are concerned that the bird flu strain could mutate with the human strain.
And the reason why they are really worried long term, is because there won\'t be any real natural immunity to it for us if it does ever jump the species gap.
