Thanks for the color comparisons. Looks like someone has crappy color perception...*cough* (e) *cough* The last pic looks darker...but all the pieces around it are pink...so...it\'s still pink.

It only looks pink because of so much light reflecting off it.

Incase you didnt notice everything else is several shades lighter than it should be. Look in the last picture and the peoples uniforms in the background, its pink. Not sure what country this is in, but I doubt the cleanup crew will be wearing pink outfits.

In the last picture you can see the true color of the vehicle, as no direct light is hitting it, the shadows are going left.

Like I said...the hue is a bit off. The people have a purplish tint...the pic is just bad. But that doesn\'t the COLOR isn\'t pink...it just appears that way.

notice the yellow on teh wheel has gone from yellow to green.. The car was pink or very close to it.

Don\'t think it was pink, I think the cameraman needed to white balance.

Dude...I\'m not talking about the actual car color...I\'m talking about the color of the car in the picture...what it APPEARS to be, given the crappy hue/tint of the image. Jebus. WTF are you on?

I think why the car looks pink have to do with inaccurate color gamut output. Maybe the camera take the picture in this color gamut, but save it in a different color gamut in photoshop and this causes the color to become wrong...

or maybe they photoshopped the hue/tint of the picture like Evi said.

I didn\'t say they photoshopped the hue...I just said the pic color seems a bit frucked up.

oh okay. Sorry.

IMO, I think when they edited it and save it in photoshop, they chose the wrong color gamut and hence, why the translation of the color is inaccurate.
