but thanks goodness, the justice system works.
Everybody is different. There are people that have trouble saying "no" and speaking their minds. I bet you she didn\'t know what\'s going on when the assistant manager called her in. She wanted to prove her innocent by doing what she is told from taking stuffs off her pockets to stripping off her clothes.
She was too passive I believe, and maybe too obedient. She did tell them that she wanted to go to the police station to proof her innocent. But they didn\'t listen. I can imagine she was struggling trying to convince them, and probably she was so freaking out and that her fear has gotten the best of her that she couldn\'t just run or screams for help. Who knows.
The assistant manager is much older, she should know better the phone call is a hoax. She\'s should know it\'s not her job to do stripped search. It\'s the police responsibility. If that caller is really the police, they should have the girl stalled with all her clothes on. Then wait for the police to come and have a female police strip search her if necessary, or go directly to the police station.
It\'s said the girl have nightmares of that scene, and she had gone through 4 different kind of medications to help her sleep at night.
Do I believe that she even notice she\'s "stupid"? I do. Even if nobody tell her she\'s stupid, she knows that herself already. She\'s probably felt really ashamed, humiliated, and people who been through stuffs like that even thought about suicide and some even do it. She probably thought she\'s so pathetic to live because this situation could have been avoided have she done things differently...
but everybody personality is different. Not everyone have a strong, confident personality to protect themselves or other...there are people that are too weak and passive and are struggling to be assertively aggressive...
