linkiddy-ay - my oh, my, what a sad, and bad day.

Microsoft sent out a patch for backwards compatibility the other day which somehow disabled 16:9 support for halo2.  Then in fixing that patch, the new patch can improperly install, rendering backwards compatibility dead all together on some systems.  Ouch.

So far I\'ve tried to play one Xbox 1 game. Tetris Worlds.

And I can\'t.

A system for backwards compatibility it isn\'t.

But Xbox Live Arcade is pretty cool. I grabbed a game off that and downloaded a demo of another one...

I think it\'s hilarious.  I\'m all for competition, but MS really f\'ed up this whole launch.  It\'s fun going to various Xbox boards and reading all the damage control.  How many people on teamxbox are on the MS payroll?

I can’t imagine Microsoft can get any with saying the Xbox 360 wasn’t designed to play games in the vertical position. One look at their advertising would tell you the opposite. Maybe that guy filing a suit against Microsoft isn’t so crazy afterall.
