Zelda to use Revolution controller
« on: December 27, 2005, 06:50:24 AM »
So the rumor going around is that the Gamecube Zelda game, Twilight Princess will be "forwards compatible" with the Revolution.

When played on that system, it will work with the Revolution controller in some capacity.

And I wonder how you folks might see it used. I\'d like to write about it, and I\'m wondering what kind of uses there are.

Swordplay is obvious. Or the fishing mini-game for sure.

I\'ve heard it could work as the reigns on a horse. How about sword in one hand, shield in another.

Somehow could it work as a bow and arrow?

It could aim the hookshot or maybe guide the boomerang as a pointer.

Point and click to throw a bomb?

What do we think?

On the other hand, it\'s not like pressing a button to swing a sword sounds any less lame.

(And actually, fishing with it is like the ideal concept. With the button acting like that reel thingabobber, it\'s just like the real thing. Only fake.)

The fishing minigame in Ocarina of Time was a cult hit.

Anyway, thanks for the ideas. ;]
