Oh, okay. Thought you was being a jackass - my bad.

I know what you mean, believe me, if I just had a spare PC , that is what I would of done. Still, my fiance bought this for me, along with some more RAM, so I can\'t complain. I\'m lovin\' it. I\'ve got 40 gigs of cartoons to watch.

It\'s an addiction.  Pretty soon you\'ll join the terrabyte club with gman & me. ;)

Well actually I\'m only @ 840gb now but if I work hard enough and don\'t lose focus, I should achieve my goal.  And then I just know I\'ll get laid.

Not sure I need that much. Then again, I do plan on rippin\' my DVD\'s and just streaming them, so maybe I will hit it up. Need to set up a RAID soon also, as I\'d hate to lose 40 gigs of cartoons. I could deal with re-ripping the DVD\'s, but not losing my cartoons.

RAID is designed for fault tolerance, not data loss prevention.

get a tape backup or just burn them to DVD\'s.

I ditched the software that the Linktheater came with and loaded up SwissCenter ( http://www.swisscenter.co.uk/ ).    It\'s free and great software, although it does have some bugs, a lot of manual editing PHP files to get desired results.

Great thing it offers is thumbnails for movie files or albums.

Not to mention it will download all movie info from DVDPLANET or Lovefilm.
