Stewart started off slow, but eventually got his groove.


Again, it\'s not that broke back mountain was a bad movie.  It\'s the publicity around it that was annoying.

It\'s a different genre. I enjoy non-horror movies, but I also don\'t gush over crap just because it\'s considered "great". Let\'s face it, if you take Brokeback Mountain and take away the gay aspect, it\'s nothing more than a standard love film. Nothing more. As for Walk the Line, I\'m biased, because I can\'t friggin stand Johnny Cash.

didn\'t see brokeback and probably never will....i don\'t watch romance flicks at all, and then you throw one in there with two men gettin\' it on?..:rolleyes:...and that\'s lookin at it from a movie standpoint.... crash on the other hand was a great movie...it gave a solid view on racial relations in the u.s.....and it did it in a classy way.

agreed on Crash, haven\'t seen Brokeback yet but I will when it comes out on DVD.

Crash however was totally interesting all the way through, and i\'m the kind of person who cannot stand Rap or Hip Hop but I thought Ludicris did an extremely good job.

as of now, I really want to see Capote most of all.

and once again, I can\'t say enough good things about Crash. Really enjoyed that movie.

I rented Crash without knowing a single thing about it and I really enjoyed it. It\'s strange how the director presents to you how people are at face value and they perpetuate it...but due to circumstances beyond their control, they go against their usual personality.

It\'s like people aren\'t inherently evil....well, there\'s hope that people aren\'t.

Agreed, I think it was set up really well.

I think another reason why I enjoyed it so much was because at the time of my watching it. I had not been immersed in constant "Crash" buzz, so I think I can relate in the sense that it was new to me aswell.

Brokeback Mountain was a bore fest for the first 45 mins, then it got really good. It was a very touching movie.

On the other hand Crash was a total surprise for me, it was brilliant.
