Boxing: I knew Joe Calzaghe would beat Jeff Lacy

Speed beats power everyday of the week. And Joe Calzaghe totally annihilated and outclassed Jeff Lacy. Everyone was hyping up the brawnish 5\'9" American as a KO artist but instead, he looked like an ameteur against the Welshman.

People under rate the British boxers way too much. BTW, Chris Eubanks is my favorite UK fighter.

eubank wath a lithping tothwank, could never thtand the bathtard, I prefered nigel benn and even steve collins to him.

Can\'t fault calzaghe\'s performance though, even though I\'m not his biggest fan, I have to duff my cap to him.

Don't waste your words I don't need anything from you. I don't care where you've  been or what you plan to do. I am the resurrection and I am the light. I  couldn't ever bring myself to hate you as I'd like.

Eubank did that for showmanship. Early in his pro-boxing career, he decided to emulate the American wrestling icon "Gorgeous George". He knew that being pompous would make him the most hated man in the UK and thus - the most popular. And getting people to pay to watch him lose would meant lots of money for him.

He KO\'d Benn and and drew (controversial decision, IMO) against Benn in the rematch. He took on Calzaghe on two weeks notice and had to lose 20 pounds to make the weight. And yet Eubank did quite well for a man out of retirement.
