I thought we went to Afghanistan to end this shit?

After reading this, I\'m officially for leaving the middle east alone politically. What\'s the point, they\'re in another world? They act like kids...

Yeah like the government is reformed in Iraq

Anyways the war in Afganistan was just a political firework after the 9/11 so that the Bush Administration would gain its lost popularity.

99% of the Afghanistan people had nothing to do with the 9/11 yet they were the ones to pay for something they had nothing to do with, and there is not need to be a very smart guy to notice this.

Its pretty surprising how masks fall as time passes.

did we have to unban him just so he could see that thread?

i dont feel the need to put disclaimers to things i say (concerning "reforming iraq")

and would u just like the US to "take whats coming to them" and let 9/11 happen and figure "oh..these people that did this are the minority..lets leave them be and let them do it again"

u can\'t fathom living in this country where its okay to attack us..and if we attack back then were the bad guys (in concern to afghanstan..ud see my position on iraq if u werent blind and got banned)

and in concern to iraq..read \'Saddam\'s Secrets\' by an iraqi air force general (a #2 guy) to get someones voice who knows what hes talking about. not the shit sources u have

I dont see a problem in this.....its progress, when was the last time you heard about someone in afghanistan trying to convert from islam to christianity?

You cant change all the rules in a country over night, especially a country so religiously centered as afghanistan. How long did it take the European nations to grant their people religious freedom? Give them time, we cant rush a situation like this.

Viper Fujax:What? You want me banned for having a different opinion? I thought you agreed with freedom of speech.
I have every right to disagree. If you dont like that and you tend to act like those muslim clerks or Saddam that are against the freedomof speech is not my problem.

Nobody said its ok for others to attack you.

But just as unfair it was for american innocent civilians to die because some idiot politicians f*cked up with another idiot called Bin Landen its as unfair for Afghanistan innocent civilians to die because of few fanatics hiding God knows where and planning to attack you. Al Qaeda is still alive and kicking and its not in Afghanistan.

Otherwise its like saying that Bin Landen did well for attacking the twin towers which I am sure you ll disagree with

My sources: Interviews of Americans that used to work in the FBI that were later black listed and fired for discovering secrets about the whole matter and tried to leak the real information to the public.
Confessions from Americans from a certain division, special forces operatives, American parents of US army troops, interviews with former minister in Tony Blair\'s government Claire Short, who denounced the tabbing of UN phone conversations by the british and US secret services, a former US ambassador, a former high-rank CIA officer, the former chief UN weapons inspector in Iraq, republican Scott Ritter. a britsh journalist that has covered the war in Afghanistan, and NOT only.

Also, Islamist radical leader Abou Hamza warned the possibility of more attacks like 9/11 if Iraq is invaded back in 2003.

As for Saddam\'s secrets....its funny that all the power he got is thanks to his former allys like...guess who....the US, Germany, Italy. Gladly he used this help to spread his dictatorship, but years ago none of his allies cared.

Oh and BTW you know Iyad Allawi? He was known for participating in a series of terrorist acts. You know who choose him as one of the candidates to rule in Iraq? THE US!

So when watching Al-Jazeera, there is no bias there?

Ofcoarse the media is biased in America. That\'s why I tend not to fully believe it unless it is well documented at other news sources also.

Damn I turn my back for a few hours and you boneheads stir up some useless boring shit again. Everyone here should grow a thicker skin and not be so easily offended. People from all parts of the world post here. Don\'t automatically assume they all hate America. Furthermore, STICK TO THE DAMN SUBJECT. We\'re talking about Afghanistan.

The former government of Afghanistan, known as The Taliban needed to be toppled a long time ago. I argued well before the 9/11 attacks that the United States should overthrow that government. Given that Al Qaeda terrorists trained in Afghanistan, we had no choice but to take them down. I\'m sorry for those Afghanistan civilians who had nothing to do with 9/11, but them\'s the breaks. Maybe they should have done something about the Taliban before we had to do it.

The problem now is that apparently we didn\'t do enough. Someone forgot to explain that it\'s "WRONG" to execute a person for their religious beliefs. Ooops. We just assumed they knew. Now all we have to do is lean on them, and they will remember who actually owns their country now. Ah ha... it\'s already done.

iraq came up because i asked if we had the same plans in afghanistan as we ended up having in iraq..because halberto said he thought we went into afghanistan to fix the government..but i thought it was just to get the insurgents/bin laden. Then unicron made a facetious comment about iraq being reformed, then i typed with my ass.

but..cloud + cored= +1

anyway..hopefully the people dont tear the guy apart. But people with balls will probably have to have something drastic happen to them for it to be remembered.

New "goals" in the Middle East keep popping up. Obviously we\'re still on the look out for Bin Laden, but the focus keeps shifting to a million different things. At this rate, we\'ll be there for the next century.
