It\'s too bad, really.  He spent so long trying to come up with logical/compelling arguements for his point of view, only to drag in the emotional baggage associated with nazis to make a point.

The comparison is there. I didn\'t say, "Gman you are a Nazi" rather that Gman is invoking actions and tactics used BY the Nazis.

I cold of easily compared it to any other oppressor group but Nazi\'s is the first thing that came to my mind. I watched Schindler\'s list today in my English class so it was fresh. Also, the degree of Gmans crazy comments can be easily compared to the mindset of the Nazis:

I don\'t like these people lets torture them and kill them. Or they could "slit their wrist".

And Clips I see your point and I agree. I do think everybody should go through the proper channels. But that is not the problem, the problem is that there are WAY to many and the process can potentially split families apart that have been here for decades. And either way I have YET to hear a reasonable argument of why McCains proposal is not a good one.

saying that would get rid of..2/3rds of our population. Either my great, great grandmother or great grandmother came here from italy illegally so that would cast my grandmother or great grandmother away,lol (which would cast me away if u think about it)..unless g-man is a decendent of the first "americans"..or a protestant..then hes in the same boat and would be casted away.

but..times have changed i guess so we can start the casting away now.

I don\'t see why I shouldn\'t take him seriously. His comments are ridiculous but there are no different than other posts. And what you said is true and it WOULD apply to you if Gman truly believes what he does.

I honestly think that Gman truly wants all kids of illegal immigrants to have papers revoked.

I have a friend that lives in Texas.  Spent about 2 hours bitching to me about how about 95% of the people that walked out in her high school had no clue why they were.  They were protesting for the sake of protesting.

All I can say about illegal immigration is that you can give me all the excuses and seek all the sympathy you want, but none of those reasons justify millions of people MOOCHING and CHEATING the United States and it\'s people.
