The inevitable world crisis

Lately I ve been thinking a lot about how thing will unfold with Iran and I believe we are for an inevitable world crisis.

 Something that bothered me a lot when the Bush Administration made a war in Iraq and Afghanistan a reality, by constantly provoking the fanatics was how these fanatics will react back.

 People that live in Muslim countries where religious groups have power know how these people think, and that even the muslims with progressive ideas in their governments like in Saudi Arabia (their government is against religious totalitarianism and want to import the life of the developed countries)  know its a matter to handle with an extreme care.

 The smallest provocation may cause a great outrage of these groups.

 It seems that fanatics in Iran and not only after seeing the war in Iraq expected they were next. Their security->Nuclear weapons. The fanatics will do anything without second thoughts or any morals.

 Their efforts to create a nuclear power industry make many wonder why a country with abundant quantities of oil would feel the need of nuclear energy? Oil is cheap in Iran.

 The possible answer is they wont just use the nuclear energy for the means of energy only. In a country where the fanatic Islamists rule anything can be expected. Khomeni brought extremistic ideas in the 70s after Carter\'s mistake to abandon Shah and his west friendly government so to satisfy the interests and demands of the multinational oil companies that feared of their profitability being threatened because they saw Iran as a great competitor.
 
 The consequences of that mistake are now to be seen. If the US doesnt do anything Iran will become a fearsome group of fanatics that wont hesitate to use their nuclear weapons. If the US does something then I fear that the islamists in Iran and not only will burst in great revolts in the world puting the world in complete chaos.

 We should also begin wondering.....Why did Russia gave to Iran the ability to  build such nuclear power reactors? And why have they recently sold to Iran  state of the art anti-aircraft weapons and other weapons?

 I think its a very suspicious act.

I thought of these possibilities:
  1)the Russian government expects that the US want to attack in Iran and in fear of the US gaining complete control of a great portion of the worlds most demanded energy they equiped Iran with powerful defenses to make the US hesitate to attack

 2)The Russian government expects that US will attack Iran so if the fanatics have enough power and create a crisis of a certain level(considering especially that fanatics mostly hate the US) will throw the US out of the game of the superpowerful countries

 3)Behind every war there are the powerful businesses especially of weapon production, they are mostly the ones that create the means of war, they are the ones that have the biggest influence in a government, there are always people in powerful country governments that invest and expect to gain from these businesses:
- either they saw Iran as just another "customer" of great potential since the only think they care for is making profits  
- either they have such influence in the government that they force it to make such irrational decisions like equiping Iran with such weapons and energy because they see even farther and  they know of the possibilities I mentioned earlier and they want them to happen

I ll just make a few summarized points then:
Wether the US decides to stop Iran from having nuclear weapons or not, an outburst of fanatic islamists is inevitable. It will happen and it wont be just between the US and Iran. It will spread
Also  Russia is probably helping Iran intentionally. Others will involve or are involved already in these very possible future crisis like it always happened in the past.

you make a good point in stating why iran would need nuclear energy when they do indeed have all that oil,..but alas with nuclear energy and or weapons they have some leverage over fully developed nations,..only problem is, like you\'ve stated is that some of these countries which are ruled by vicious dictators wouldn\'t hesitate to push the button if pressured or if forced into a corner if they actually developed some type of nuke,...

the u.s. and others really have no business telling others nations what they can and cannot have, but to a certain degree there\'s a reason for this, as i\'ve stated above, you just can\'t trust certain countries,..not sayin\' that the u.s. are saints,..but i know they wouldn\'t throw a nuke to the other side of the world over lets say a...cartoon...

 I think this is probably the first time US has no other choice but interfere. I am very very sure Iran is looking for the perfect chance and excuse to use them. Ofcourse as you said I am not implying that the US is a saint in the whole matter because the state in which Iran is today is thanks to actions Carter\'s presidency made in the 70s to satisfy interests ending it up unexpectedly under the ruling of fanatics. Also it was Bush\'s presidency decisions that recently provoked the islamist extremists who are always waiting for the right chance and esxcuse to spread their fanatism in the world. The excuse was half offered in a silver plate by the recent events.

Yeah unfortunately whatever the US will do we are about to face a terrible revolt from fanatics.

Unless a solution is found(something I am pessimistic about) under an international convention agreement that Iran will agree to pull back its plans for nuclear energy as well as quaranteeing no US intervention if Iran promises not to proceed to extremistic actions that will become a thread to other countries.

 But lets assume such a solution is found I hope it\'s kept long enough so things will improve in the Arabian world. That if multinternational businesses dont get involved and provoke differences in relations for their personal interests again. Already steps are being made in Saudi Arabia improving their social life, with women probably gaining the right to drive at the age of 30 and above. They also recently got the right to work in some bank services directed to women customers. If improvement is happening slowly it will automatically spread in other territories as well.

These said I am still very afraid that fanatics are up to something. At the same time things are trying to improve government\'s police and fanatics ofteen come face to face in gunshootings in these areas. The government like in Saudi Arabia is trying to keep these events a secret so not to panic the people but these fanatics want a coup to take complete control over the government.

If we let Iran do something first, the U.S. will be the good guys.  Too bad we played the preemptive card already. Can\'t very well go around attacking countries like that all the time... can we?
