I know its tomorrow..but im pretty anxious for the first 5 picks. Supposedly the texans are more interested in mario williams than reggie bush. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/draft06/news/story?id=2425818

The texans are all around shit..and shouldnt take bush and trade their pick for a lot more picks. Dominick Davis is good enough to make their running game above average..they need to focus on o-line and defense. But bush is amazing. btw, bush is from my area so thats pretty cool. The 619 he wears under his eyes is my area code. Anyway, i dont think theyll be able to pass on bush anyway.

I think vince young will go to the titans, leinart to the jets, aj halk to the packers, brickshaw to the saints, and mario williams to the niners. If the texans dont take bush ill probably be completely wrong.

I think the broncos (tema i follow) will get santonio holmes. But part of me is hoping they trade the 15th pick to the packers for javon walker..cept his injury is a little worrysome. Think he tore tendons which is more seseptible to being a problem rather than a broken leg (steve smith came back fine)

looks like i was wrong..

texans agreed to terms with mario williams.

replace brickshaw with bush, and replace mario williams to the niners with brickshaw..

bush was being unresponsive to the texan\'s deals for whatever reason and it payed off and they went with williams instead.

i bet they couldve traded the first pick and gotten williams like 6th and gotten an extra pick from the trade..

I really doubt Williams would have dropped that far.

Oh, and come on, six buckeyes in the 1st round!!!

yes they do. Vince young\'s posture looks weird as hell. Bush looks huge.

Im not sure what to think about the broncos trading up for cutler. they needed santionio holmes..maybe next years draft will have better pickings..

Im surprised the panthers passed on lendale white though.

I don\'t know what to think about the Pats draft. On one hand they got some serious offensive weapons. They instantly made our offense younger and faster. On the other hand I was hoping they would shore up some of the holes on Defense.

Still, as Pats fans we have learned to trust the wisdom of Belichick and Pioli.

I\'m skeptical of the pick. Mainly because i live in san diego and have to see crappy first round qb\'s all the time. I\'m one of the few that likes jake plummer..he got used to the broncos offense last season and did really well..except at the end of the season, but who expected him to go from leading the league in INT\'s one season to winning a super bowl.

Plus the growing pains of young qb\'s are tedious. MAYBE theyll pay off but im pretty pessimistic.

but the fact they traded for javon walker makes everything okay. No point in santonio holmes anymore. Hopefully the injury doesnt linger. They dont really need anything else..not sure how dayne will do as the main big back, the browns d-line gets pressure (everyone talks about how the broncos dont get any sacks, which is true, but its not like they dont get to the qb), and the corners are still young. They should probably get some safteys though since furgeson (sp?) isnt that good and lynch is old.

I think that the texans did a good job, they addressed the more important issue. Dominick Davis is not bad at all and theyre defense sucked. Good pick IMO.

I dont know what the Saints are doing, I know Bush is good but....did they forget about Duece? Hes one of the best backs in the league, they had no need for him.

I can see why the saints went with bush... he\'ll put asses in the seats, plain and simple.  They\'ll split carries for a season, then I imagine they\'ll be looking to move deuce for some draft picks or something.

As good as deuce is.. if what everyone seems to be projecting for bush is true then he\'ll be better.  I\'m still skeptical that he can be an every-down back.. but who knows?

how many DE\'s have been busts from the top picks? too many..courtney brown comes to mind.

Sorry but when bush has 100 yards on 14 carries, while williams has 2 sacks in a game..bush looks better.

You\'re right about dominick davis being enough, but they have 50 holes in their team and all they got was a DE..either trade the pick for multiple picks or take bush..hes that good.

Deuce has been hurt the past two years..theyve picked up a few DE and o-line on free agency, next season theyll have to look at Lb\'s and secondary..not like the saints are going to turn their franchise around JUST because of bush.

And i dont think well be able to see if bush is an every down back until deuce gets injured again..which he probably will. I think he can do it..At least be in 2/3rds of the plays.
