Starting to look for TVs

I have an apartment for next year and I want to get a really decent HDTV so I can watch HD sports and everything (have little pow wows in my room, lol) and for PS3. I want to get a flat screen cathode ray TV possibly widescreen. If I get widescreen, the only complaint is when they distort the picture by stretching. Any ideas of a good flat screen CRT TV with HD capability? Not combo either with VCR and DVD. I can get a DVD player easy enough and I don\'t use tapes :)

I got the 32\' version of that TV a few months ago and have been nothing but happy with it.

It\'s not the biggest TV around but my plan is when I finally get a house move that into the bedroom and get another, bigger for the living room.

CRT ftw.

A friend of mine has a slightly older model Sony 30" widescreen crt with a built in tuner and I haven\'t seen any in that style that matches it.  The series out now is one series past his and they don\'t come with the tuner built in and don\'t seem to look as good.  *shrugs*

360 games and buckeyes football look amazing on it

My wife told me a friend of ours just bought a massive tv gotta be at least a 60 inch , hopefully i will see it soon this guy loves his toys.

I probably should have mentioned I don\'t have a job. I\'m looking for one. I\'m trying not to spend over 600 on it if possible. Got a lot of plans this summer and I\'m sure none of them will happen but need money for that.

Titan, as everyone else said you\'re choices are really limited by your budget.  But if you really want HD this looks like it fits:

If you have a light-controlled room you can get an Infocus 4805 (DLP front projector).  I had mine @ 92" before I went sxrd and I loved it.

that tv you pick looks good imo, i guess the circuit city model was more recent than the best buy model.  both models have built in hd tuner, and an HDMI connection, making it futureproof for a while, and it\'s a CRT type which is my favorite type of display.  $700 is quite a nice deal there for 30" HDTV with built in hdtuner.  If you can get it cheaper, better for you.  If you know how to calibrate the heck out of it, the picture will look awe-inspiring.  But that\'s a different story there.

Wait, which one are you talking about? Both of them?

I wanted to get the HDMI, like you said, future proof and I can use it for the PS3 since I\'m gonna get the premium version.
