I like how its charged through a mini-USB port. I thought it could have up to 17 players tho...

Here\'s how it went. Ken comes and tells us about the PS3 and his dream of the PS since 1994.

He then tells us that he has a very big secret to show us.

And there he gets the dual shock out of his jacket.

Everyone laughed since they thought it was a joke. It looked just like the PS2 controller. Nothing special.

He then adds it\'s wireless and stuff and has a USB slot blah blah but that it can do more.

Phil shows that it has motion sensing

They then called a dev from Igognito to demosntrate it and voila here\'s Warhawk, flying a ship with just the controller.



edit: Also forgot to add. Just the controller is enough for motion sensing. No need of a separate hardware in front of your TV to sense your motion.

The PS3 controller is similar to the Wii remote. You tilt it to the left, your plane tilts to the left and so whatnot.

They had a demo of Warhawk and it was pretty impressive though a blatant ripoff from Nintendo.

From the things I ve seen so far from it I am willing to spend anything.

You can use up to probably 7 controllers, it has a 20GB HD as standard (60GB is $599), the controller has motion sensing and Sony seems to have taken online service very seriously

This conference was terrible. I didn\'t get a 360 because I wanted to see what the PS3 was going to show and it wasn\'t impressive AT ALL. They showed GT (with better graphics), Dynasty Warriors (in slow motion with better graphics), generic FPS (with better graphics), and about 12 cutscenes from other games.

The only thing impressive was Final Fantasy XIII and MGS4 and even those weren\'t that good.

And the controller?! OMG. Did you see the guy trying to use it? It looked like he was out of control the whole time (Did you see him try to land at the end of his presentation?! lol). The whole thing had the feeling of being slapped into the controller at the last minute.

In fact, if Microsoft comes out with some really impressive second generation stuff tomorrow they could put Sony in a pr hole before they even launch. In fact a nextgen Halo 3 ALONE could put Sony on their heels. This definately isn\'t good for Sony.

The "core" pack doesn\'t even have HDMI. What\'s the point of having a blu-ray player if you can\'t even display the movies properly

There is still no Halo3. and MS conference hasnt even started yet.

 I didnt claim Sony killed 360 or that MS is doomed did I?

 When MS shows its offerings I ll comment on that too and I might be more blown away.

For now I am comparing what I ve seen so far not what I ll see. I am not a future teller.

This depends on what MS shows tomorrow. People aren\'t going to pay an extra $200 dollars just because it is Sony. If MS\' second generation looks as impressive as it should than Sony may be shooting for a second place finish.
