Why do people always insist on trying to get my threads closed gosh it was just suppose to be a thread about the people with the most posts. You can discuss how little you have posts or anything, but gosh I just wanted everyone to get along and you ruined it. ibtl

Isn\'t this one of the reasons post counts got frozen at one point? Also the reason we lost visibility of our post counts up until the forum update?

I don\'t think post count was frozen, but they took it off of every page.  Post count does not reflect a persons \'post value\' at all.  If you stick to off topic and post in countless stupid threads, never bother writing anything longer than a sentence, you can still have a huge amount of posts, but you\'re worthless to the board.   Some people put thought into their posts, and hence, contribute to the board and threads they reply in in a significant manner.
