Amazing Acrobatics
« on: May 19, 2006, 06:08:13 PM »
Remember a long time ago someone posted videos of the dude who was doing all sorts of crazy acrobatics?  Climbing walls, jumping buildings, etc....

Well this dude posted shit that even I could do.  Good stuff.  I chuckled.  Especially the wall that takes him like 30 seconds to crawl up.

If that wasnt a joke I don\'t know what to say.

My 65 year old dad could do that stuff.

If there\'s a line between real acrobatics and humorous parody...

That guy has hit the line dead on...  It\'s too good to be parody, but to "blah" to be real.

After reading the responses, I thought I\'d see some overweight guy trying to do le parkour.

What I saw was a perfectly acceptable amatuer acrobat showing us what he\'s got.

Great finds, the 2nd link of the video parkour, i haven\'t seen it before and seeing it just now still amazes me with those stunts/moves jumps, and flips.

Man, maybe some days someone should make a fighting movies using parkour moves with a great story.  It would be cool to see a story set in medievel time where people with powerful fighting skills use those parkour moves and in some cases with wires to make them fly and fight.  You know, like how Chinese movies are such as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon that was set in old time, with people that can fight and fly in mid air with those acrobatic moves and with swords and other weapons too.

I honestly think the kid was serious.

Look at some of his other videos on youtube.  He is so freaking lame it\'s hillarious.

Evi: Yes, but they\'ve clearly been doing it a lot longer than the other guy.

I\'m just giving him a little credit. :)

Yeah, but...you\'re giving him too much credit. I was doing most of the things he was when I was in 1st grade. And that part where he was jumping over the wall and messed up 4 times is just freaking stupid. It really isn\'t that difficult to hop over a tiny railing. I saw a worse one than this though. Some kid tried scaling a 5-6 foot wall and struggled for 16 seconds.
