I was just pointing out it\'s another generic FPS - what\'s to get excited about? Sorry, I\'m burned out on FPS, I couldn\'t even make myself finish HL2 / DOOM 3 /Quake 4.

Most likely not. You\'re killing off fps gameplay on consoles. GoldenEye ? Halo ? TimeSplitters ? etc.
(your examples are fps games of which the console ports were drab indeed. My examples on the other hand are the console fps games which prove they CAN work marvelously)

How about this for you.

Timesplitters = Boring.
Goldeneye  = Good for its time.
Halo = Boring.

Wiimote + Red Steel  = Boring. I never once mentioned Red Steel, hell I don\'t even reference Red Steel when I talk about the Wii. Why? Because it\'s also just another generic FPS. These things have been a dime a dozen for the past three generations now.

Or...To make this even easier for you to understand.

FPS genre altogether = stale and boring.  

In other words, get back to me when you have a clue what I was talkin\' about and don\'t try to every single post I do as a biased against the "(PS3)".

You were writing off fps\'s just like that. Because the games i mentioned are not in \'your book of what are fun games\', the ones i mentioned are still regarded as fps quality games on consoles.

No, you implied that I thought Red Steel would offer something, you attempted to imply that I was biased towards the Wii and therefor would excuse RED Steel for being yet another FPS.

You just wanted to make a big deal out of nothing. Take a look at the thread, there are plenty of people NOT EXCITED about YET ANOTHER FPS.

i could list as good examples. (And there\'s at least the threadstarter + me excited about this game and i\'m looking forward to Red Steel as well)

*sigh*, knotter, buddy, I put trolling in quotes because I (and most everyone else here) don\'t see it as trolling.  I was merely using your words.  Most of us here are tired of FPS, they are stale, they offer very little in inovation and this game is a prime example.  Lets put in aliens into a WWII game (WWII games are already hyper saturated in the market as is), throw in a few "new" weapons and sell it to the masses. Woohoo :rolleyes:.  I\'m sorry but aliens, gritty atmosphere, and WWII have all been done before, putting them together does not constitute new or exciting.
