you guys gonna check it out? I know a ton of you will because I know a ton of you are also comic book nerds like myself.

However, are you going to go see it opening weekend?

Seeing as X-Men 3 was sold out at my theater (WTF) I can only imagine how crazy it will be for Superman.  I do plan to catch it the following week tho, hopefully during mid week.

To those of you brave enough to hit the cinema opening weekend tho...uh...good luck.

Opening weekend? HA!

Already got my tickets for the 10:00 early screening tommorw night.
Boo-yah!

Hope it doesn\'t suck like Singer\'s other two comic-book efforts.

As for "waiting a few hours" on day one, what kind of idiot waits hours to see a movie in this day in age? Online ticket ordering. I\'ve had my tickets for almost two weeks. If you wait in a line to buy a ticket, you Sir, are a complete idiot. I mean, come on, FANDANGO? Hell, with X3, I had my tickets for the midnight showing two weeks ahead of time.

Reviews from RT.com are looking good.  Can\'t wait to watch the 320x240 mono sound torrented video file when it gets done downloading in two weeks.

Screw, RT, I have no hope for the film.

Kate Bosworth + Lois = Worst . CASTING. EVER.

Bryan Singer = Diaster. I hated his two X-Films.

A Super-Kid = Stupid. Honestly, that\'s cheese.

A lot of the stuff that has been cut also should of been left in. The spaceship sequence, Clark catchin up on what has been goin\' on while at the Kent farm. A lot of great things like that.

Not a lot of hope here for it.

If I see it, I\'ll probably see it in a couple weeks when the hype dies down. This way I have some place to put my feet up while watching it :) Maybe I\'ll take a female friend to this one ;) The only problem is if its really good, I\'m gonna watch the movie and not the girl.

Yeah, Singer copped out and made a "vague sequel" to the first two and used Luthor , AGAIN. Four of five films...That is pathetic.

Kevin Spacey as Luthor is a BIG PLUS from my perspective. Possibly the only plus this film has for me at the moment. Spacey kicks ass. He is the only one who could take over that role from Hackman.

I do love Kevin Spacey so i got hope that he\'ll make a great Lex.

Also, last night on the Discovery channel they had "The Science of Superman"

Where they explained what a human body would need to have in it to have heat vision, frost breath, the kind of cell structure you\'d need to withstand bullets, x-ray vision, how strong our bones would have to be to run as fast as superman.

One thing I found interesting was in Superman 1 when Lois falls from the rooftop and Superman catches her. The maximum speed she could be falling with gravity pulling her and air resistance slowing her down they said was around 120mph. So Superman, seeing as he wasn\'t close by to reach her would have to be flying at around one thousand times faster than she was falliung, so about 120,000mph.

They said the change in speed from Superman catching her would of been much more devastating and that she would of been safer just smacking into the ground :)

They also talked about how if Superman can move in and out of a room so fast that you can\'t even see him he\'d have to be moving faster than the speed of sound and that he would probably be making a sonic boom whenever he did it.

Pretty interesting stuff :)

It\'s the building of suspense that I enjoy. Much like waiting outside at a console launch (I pre-order now, though).

I guess I could just...go buy some tickets online. =]

Suspense? Like a console launch? That is like saying you\'ll stand in line for a console without a pre-order ticket... It\'s idiotic this day in age to not buy online if you thnk you are going to have to wait upwards of an hour for a possible ticket. Plain stupid.

And the fact that Kevin Spacey\'s Lex channels Gene Hackaman\'s, well, this film seems to lack any spirit.
