You must mean LiC.  I like MGS immensely despite the fact that as a game there are a number of very big flaws.  FF I can go back to, but it\'s going to take a really good version of it to make me look at it a second time.  RPG\'s are dead to me, but I will try anything if it\'s considered really good and I wouldn\'t dare deny myself the experience of playing it at least once.  Lost Odyseey just might tempt me back into the RPG realm, but my serious problems with the genre are numerous and it will have to overcome them before I welcome the genre back.
Don\'t you ever touch my cape.

The only reason I mentioned those games were because he stated he hadn\'t touched his 360 since July.  Those were the games released since then, and with respect to personal opinion I simply told him of the games available to him that he hadn\'t tried out.  He already has a 360 so I\'m not sure why you brought up their system-selling quality?  Your second hand opinion was not needed and did nothing but derail the thread.

It looks to me like NNN got the score it deserved.

Your point?

So what, and I bet you haven\'t played either one.

Not necessarilly system-selling quality. Not all truelly great quality games sell or increase console sales. The point is some games offer nothing new or nothing extraordinary. Madden for example isnt leaps of what we have seen already from last gen. It got an 8. It doesnt deserve it the same way as other 8 graded games. It gives no real reason for someone who wants interesting and great games that define his new purchase to dust off his 360, unless that someone doesnt care much.

And I believe thats why these games didnt move Blade`s interest. Some of these are just ok titles, with nothing in particular we havent seen before. He could have stayied with PS2, XBOX or GC instead

Ratings don\'t mean much. They usually put a lot of words in the review too that are much more insightful.

I give most games an 8, but I grade on a scale of 1 to 7.

The quality of the titles was never meant to come in to the discussion!  They were just a list of options.

If you\'re tired of your old systems (like me) then you\'ll look at your next gen options first and foremost.  Good or bad, they\'re options.  Your second hand opinion (being that you haven\'t played any of those games) is worth shit.

It wasnt ment to come in the discussion only for you because it doesnt satisfy your interest.

And because your are struggling to make a point here to no avail I ll try explain you again how relevant my point was by using your own statements. Getting tired of your old system is a result of one simple thing (thats why you contradict yourself) -> Getting tired of the old same formula. So why does someone buy a next gen system? To experience something new.

If you think TD, NNN, Need for Speed, Madden are reasons to look at next gen options to experience something different then you are fooled.

Also I wont tolerate such offensive comments. Even if you were the pope or the president.

My opinion (which is actually a FACT) is worth as much as yours if not more.

That was a pretty good post Uni, except that opinions cannot be facts. And that is a fact, not my opinion.

You are right. If you are refering to how I see specific games.

But I see it as a fact that people get tired of their old consoles and replace them with next gen ones to experience something more advanced or atleast different.

Again, you haven\'t played those games and you don\'t know their worth as next-gen experiences.

It\'s entirely subjective.  Who the hell do you think you are to tell someone else what to think?

What are you going to do about it?

Opinions are never fact.

Notice I haven\'t said anything about their worth.  All I did was lay out some options.  You dimwitts made it more than that.

I never went so far as to tell him that the games were good or bad, only that they were available.  Prove me wrong or stfu.
