Why not just buy something like a stun gun. Just as effective and you won\'t kill someone or yourself without being very unlucky.

Its not just disrespect. Its against safety regulations too.

But its expected when in every channel we are bombarded with Hollywood action movies. We lose the sense of danger for these things. After having personal experience with guns in the army I now understand the BS action movies show to us and how wrong it influences the masses. Most people imagine guns as cool things to show off and brag about just like movies. They even expect to use them just like in the movies. They look sexy on the surface but they are stupid killing ugly machines.

Hell! If you are inexperienced shooting with that thing may unexpectedly jump off your hand. You cant even shoot at a human target 15 meters away from you that easily.

i don\'t want to go into the whole anti gun vs pro gun thing.  As its pointless to tell close minded people what others think.

I do have something to say about the last picture that I posted tho.  The picture isn\'t against any safety regulations.

From what I\'ve learned:

1. Know your target and what\'s behind it.
2. finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire.
3. ALL guns are loaded and treat them as loaded.
4. don\'t point at anything you don\'t intend to destory.

I follow those rules in that picture.  So please if you don\'t know something don\'t act like you do...:liar:

That has to be the most ignorant thing I\'ve heard in a while. You know, some people buy them for sport just like shooting a bow and arrow. I\'m eventually gonna buy a couple rifles one day. Am I gonna go on a shooting rampage? No. What am I gonna do with it? Hunt and go to the shooting range. Why? Because I find shooting rifles and shotguns to be quite fun. Anti-gun people piss me off. Its my right as an American to own and fire one. Don\'t tell me I\'m gonna kill myself with one because I just have a bigger chance on getting killed in my car. If you are responsible, firearms are quite safe.

You have that gun less than 6 inches from your ear.  You aren\'t treating it like a loaded weapon that could accidentally discharge.  At that distance, the bullet doesn\'t have to hit you to cause serious damage, whether from sound or heat.

Always treat a gun as if it is loaded and could go off accidentally (they do, you know).  You are clearly treating the gun in that photo without the respect a weapon of leathal ability deserves.

I don\'t generally have a problem with long gun ownership, for hunters/target shooters, but I do wish there were more restrictions worldwide on the manufacture and sale of handguns and \'military\' grade rifles (automatic, AP).
