If only someone would beat the Mavs, so the Suns can claim the best record in the league!  :hissyfit:
 
Hah hah.. Truly the Mavericks are the "team to beat" because no one seems capable of doing it.  Including the Suns.  Phoenix has a couple more cracks at them, so who knows.
 
One thing I love is seeing Charles Barkley eat his words at last.  He\'s been criticizing the Suns for so long, but now there\'s no denying that this team is better than his 92-93 team.  The current team already broke their franchise win streak record.  I think they might break it again in about a week.  :D

I think pop likes it that way. He said he wanted Amare to score in the conference finals because it was better than having people heave 3\'s the whole time.

Looks like the players weren\'t even breaking a sweat, but then again nothing is really on the line in these games so it\'s more relaxed

Yeah, Shrimpy Boykins used to play for the Nuggets.  The NBA seems to have a fascination with little guys.  They are always cast as quick tenacious defenders.  In this case, Boykins just isn\'t that good.  It\'s amazing that he can compete at all given his size, but compared to bigger guys, he isn\'t that good.

Don\'t feel too bad for Miami because they never had a chance anyway.
 
For the past couple years, Miami and basically all eastern teams suck compared to the West.  The only reason Miami won a championship last year is because Dallas mysteriously FOLDED like a tortilla.  They did not present a credible challenge to Miami.  It was embarrasing for me to watch because it was like Dallas became a bunch of little girls in the Finals.  
 
I am not a professional basketball player, so I cannot begin to imagine the pressure at that level of competition, but still there were no excuses for what Dallas LET happen.  They will not let it happen again, nor will any other top western team that reaches the finals.  
 
The NBA championship belongs to the west for the next few years at least.
