We don\'t have a college football thread, but being from NJ, this is a proud moment.  This is the best thing to happen to New Jersey since... well, ok, so nothing really good has happened to NJ before, but we got something now.

Haha, seriously though, I was flipping out about that.  Being from NY, it\'s the closest thing to a home town team I coulda really had.  If they run the table and don\'t make the championship game, I\'d be complaining.

Bah.  They suck.  They\'ll lose next week.  If they make it to the championship game then that will prove again how we need a freaking playoff system in the NCAA.

I saw Ray Rice play in the NY state high school championship game, he was on new rochelle and they were playing some weird named school with Greg Paulus (duke bball player). New Ro woulda won but Ray Rice got hurt halfway through the game.

Vid, you\'re just saying that as a Florida fan.  If you ask me, any team with one loss has no room to complain about not making the title game.  If you win out, you deserve to be there.  If not, you don\'t.  The only problem I have is when a major undefeated gets shut out.

A playoff system would take away a lot of the charm college football has now.  With that said it still might come to that sometime soon.  I agree that an undefeated Rutgers probably deserves to play in the title game, too bad they\'ll be there just to get blown out.  One of the one loss teams from the SEC or Texas is probably a better game against OSU-Michigan.

Dude, I loved Bowcraft as a kid. Went there a few times. Passing by on 22 though, its such a shithole. We should make a special forum for us Jersey residents/past residents (gotta accomodate you clippy ). Like, I literally live(d) 10 minutes from both of you.
