I\'m positive your words of wisdom on this internet forum will not echo in anyone\'s head when the choice of whether or not to drink or drive comes about.  But if it makes you sleep better at night, go for it.

My words might (almost certainly) not, but the videos and BAC calculator may, since they have far greater impact.  Watching them just once and trying the calculator means the issue will be in your mind next time you go drinking, it might just be the difference between a cab and a drive.

Actually that reminds me of a funny story.  A bunch of friends of mine had a breathalyzer.  Instead of using it for good and using it to see if one could drive or not, they used to it to see who could get the most drunk.  

You\'re BAC calculator will only act as amusment to us on the forums. (see Jar O Pickles post.)  As for the videos, we\'ve all seen the carnage of drunk driving accidents (drivers ed anyone?).  How are yours different again?

Oh and don\'t worry, eventually I\'ll grow tired of picking on you, just ask evi.

Not worried, in fact the more attention that can be drawn to the issue the better.  I don\'t mind being a scapegoat or being poked at because it\'ll strengthen the memories of this thread in more minds for days and weeks to come.  

Drunk driving is actually an area I have NO sense of humor in, but that just comes from seeing the effects of drunk drivers (often just \'regular\' people).

Almost everyone I know who got a pocket Breathalyzer \'broke it in\' the way you and your friends did - which is fun, if you don\'t drive home :).

The optimism you hold that this thread could make a difference baffles me.  I think the only person who will remember this thread more than 4 hours from now will be me, and I don\'t drink (I\'ll still be wondering how you can be so damn optimistic).

Dunno.  I\'m just a happy guy.

Does the REM song shiney happy people bother you, cause that\'s a good baseline I think... I\'m one of the few people I know who sings along to that one.

I think if I didn\'t believe in the best outcome I\'d probably go crazy with work and life.... although I suppose not, since so many people get by in life not being nearly so cheery.

Only place I\'m not optimistic is about politics and mega corporations.  Those guys are all crooked ;)

i\'ve heard nothin\' but good things about the clubs in miami....dude on my job told me miami was off the chains,...i know if i was single i could get into alot of trouble down there..i keep hearin\' that there are alot of fine-ass latino women down there...:fro:....club scene in atlanta is alright, but it\'s nothin\' compared to N.Y.!...:fro:....sometime in the near future i\'m gonna take that road trip to miami and check out some of those clubs....
