Evi, doesn\'t it feel a bit tricky to load and unload the discs in vertical position ?
Or does the PS3 grab the disc quickly / firmly enough, that there\'s almost no chance of the disc slipping & subsequently falling down ?

Option 2. :thumb: There\'s no chance of it slipping (and if you\'re clumsy and end up dropping it, the coating on the discs will save you). The PS3 grips onto the disc and pulls it in firmly. Feels like a much better quality slot loader than some of the ones I\'ve tried. Plus there\'s no eject button, just a touch-sensitive area with the eject symbol there. Kind of cool. And I\'ve only used it in the vertical position. Whereas before when the PS2 was vertical and discs would constantly slip because you had to carefully place it into the tray, the PS3 eliminates any worry about that. It feeds right into the PS3. Also, like the PS2, that little PS logo by the disc feeder is turnable (for horizontal and vertical positions). The front cover also comes off (which might be used for future modding, I\'ve read).

Bitches.. :(

Throw one my way, because the way it looks now Sony might screw up the EU march release!

Well as far as gaming goes, yes.

Waiting for 6 months or more for certain titles to arrive (MGS3? Final Fantasy?) plus having a higher price tag per title. Jawsome.

Thank god PS3 is region free. I will import most games from VGP, mostly due to lower prices and not wanting to support the Scandinavian distributor Nordisk Film.

Fasty, consider flipping Sony off and just get an Xbox. It\'s also lots cheaper!

Those bastards are always shitting down our European throats. At least MS delivered on their promise (worldwide launch).

I\'m afraid Sony has me by the ballz thanks to the exclusive titles on the system. One of them should be out by the EU launch, MotorStorm which I\'m very much looking forward to.

Even if I were into getting an Xbox I\'d probably hold off getting one anyway. I\'m a regular at another forum and the problems people are experiencing with broken Xboxes is just bind boggling.

Sony always fucks us in the ass, so I\'m used to it. I have no feeling left in that part of the body. ;)

If I weren’t so interested in HD movies (Blu-Ray) I would have imported a PS3 once they become available via VGP. I want to be able and buy BD titles locally.
